In a liquid
PRESENTACIÓN: The molecules in a liquid exert a force of attraction between each other, and the net force is zero on any one of them within the volume of liquid, whereas a molecule at the surface is attracted towards the volume in such a way that the liquid tends to minimize its surface area like a membrane in tension. This surface tension is the ratio between the surface tension force and the length over which it acts.
