PRESENTATION: The dispersion of light depends on the wavelength, the blue color disperses more than the other colours. When the sun goes through the atmosphere, it disperses and spreads in small wavelength radiations. This makes the sky that bluish colour and also it makes the transmitted light proportion that reddish colour to the horizon in the evening when there is a high concentration of dust in the atmosphere. The sky would be black without it.
